Qualifications

  • Must be an undergraduate student with sophomore ( credits completed by January 2021) through graduating senior status.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 and be in good standing in the academic major.
  • All selected Orientation Counselors must successfully pass a background check upon signing the contract.

Time Commitments

  • Must enroll in and attend the UNIV 497 course during Spring Semester (2021)
    • The UNIV 497 course is the equivalent of a 3-credit course that may be taken for variable credit ( credits).
    • Full participation and successful completion of the UNIV 497 course and its requirements, which include preparation, consultation, observation by supervisors, home study, and class attendance and participation.
  • Must attend a staff retreat:
