Qualifications
- Must be an undergraduate student with sophomore (30+ credits completed by January 2021) through graduating senior status.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 and be in good standing in the academic major.
- All selected Orientation Counselors must successfully pass a background check upon signing the contract.

Time Commitments
- Must enroll in and attend the UNIV 497 course during Spring Semester (2021)
- The UNIV 497 course is the equivalent of a 3-credit course that may be taken for variable credit (1-3 credits).
- Full participation and successful completion of the UNIV 497 course and its requirements, which include preparation, consultation, observation by supervisors, home study, and class attendance and participation.
- Must attend a staff retreat: January 2021
- Must be fully available to work for the following Orientation Programs: (dates are subject to change)
- Transfer Alive: March 2021
- Summer training: mid-May - early June, 2021
- Summer Alive: June-July, 2021
- Fall Alive: August 2021
