Be An Orientation Counselor

"Looking to have the BEST summer ever? Be an OC! You get to make lifelong friendships, welcome new Cougs, have fun, and get paid!!!" — OC Nick

It takes a talented and dedicated Coug to become a successful Orientation Counselor "OC" at Washington State University Pullman. OCs gain valuable experience in public speaking, group work, presentation, and leadership skills. OCs also have a unique opportunity to connect to WSU Pullman as a representative of the student body and a link to faculty and staff.

Working as an OC is an extremely rewarding position. Many OCs form long-lasting friendships during their tenure, both with students and staff. Almost unanimously, OCs cite helping students, families, and supporters as one of the most gratifying experiences of their college careers. If you want to help create an exciting, transformational, and fun experience for our incoming Cougs, apply to be an OC!
