"If you want to spend your summer with amazing people, gaining experience, having the time of your life, and getting paid to do it ... then being an OC might just be what you are looking for!" — OC Haley
It takes a talented and dedicated Cougar to become a successful Orientation Counselor "OC" at Washington State University Pullman. The challenges of the position are numerous, but the rewards are great. OCs gain valuable experience in public speaking, group work, presentation, and leadership skills. OCs also have a unique opportunity to connect to WSU Pullman as a representative of the student body and a link to faculty and staff.
Working as an OC is an extremely rewarding position. Many OCs form long-lasting friendships during their tenure, both with students and staff. Almost unanimously, OCs cite helping students and parents as one of the most gratifying experiences of their college careers.
