For Students:
When you submit your application, you will be directed to include the name, phone number, and email address of two people who will serve as a reference for you. Your references can be past or current teachers/instructors, employers, academic advisors/counselors, club advisors, research advisors, mentors, faith leaders, or anyone else who can comment on your ability to perform a job and serve as a role model. Ideally, one of your two references will be a WSU faculty or staff member, but it is not required. We will not accept references submitted by family, friends, or past Orientation Counselors.
Reference forms must be completed by November 6, 2020. You can view the status of your references by logging in to the application website.
References will not be taken into consideration until Phase 3 of the application process.
By submitting an application, you waive your right to view your references' recommendation forms. All information included in the reference form will be kept in confidence.
For References:
Once an applicant has submitted an application listing you as a reference, you will receive an automated email with a link to complete the reference form. If you have not received an email, please check your spam or junk folders.
