Be An Orientation Counselor

Orientation Counselors are paid at a rate of $13.69/hour. Overtime at the rate of $20.54/hour is paid when more than 40 hours are worked in a week (Sunday-Saturday).

Events that are paid include:

Transfer Alive:
Summer training:
Summer Alive:
Fall Alive!:

Also included in the compensation package:

Housing in Stephenson Residence Hall (you will have a fellow OC as a roommate)
Meals during Alive sessions
Staff shirts

New Student Programs reserves the right to modify this compensation package and hour allotment, if necessary.

If orientation needs to be offered remotely in during the 2021 cycle, the following pieces of technology will be provided to you for use:

WSU Laptop
Webcam
Headset with microphone
Wifi Hotspots (when/if necessary)
